i think valid-i was taking “death” a little less literally. if you make friends with death and invite him into your life one day he’ll show himself to be not quite so much the buddy you thought he was.

i’m definitely not planning on dying any time soon. still, it’s important for me to remember that we are not given an infinite number of second chances in life.
